The Lipper Fund Awards take place in 22 countries and 8 languages every year to celebrate fund manager’s success in the marketplace. For the 2009 awards, Lipper needed to not only market their fund awards, but they also needed to announce a merger into the new ThomsonReuters organization.

Lipper had tight deadlines and limited budgets, so they decided to use their inside resources for production work and rely on outside help for the overall concept.

I developed three concepts which centered on celebrating the fund manager’s achievements. After much back and forth the client selected ‘Welcome the Virtuosos’ as their preferred execution. With a few modifications it was sent off to their production team for integration into print and online materials.
