Reuters Media Player

The journalists at Reuters.com were looking for a quick way to showcase Reuters photography in a video format centered around a particular story, and with voiceover. They wanted a system with an easy-to-use administrative system that didn't require heavy development resources to build. Oh, and did I mention they didn't have much of a budget?

Problems with the cloud

This morning I went to work and the cloud was down. Or at least my part of it. Up to now most of the criticisms of cloud computing have centered around who owns the data? Or, what format is the data in? But what about: can I reliably access my data?
